16:9 · 5sGet a still you are happy with first. A key frame is cheap, fast and settles composition, colour and subject before any motion is committed.

image to videoChange one variable per attempt. Two edits at once means you never learn which of them helped, and you will make that trade fifty times.

Find the shot on a fast Kling version, then re-render the keeper once on the flagship. Most wasted time is flagship iteration.
Native audio is a real advantage on Kling 2.6 and 3.0 — and dead weight on a silent product loop. Choose accordingly.
If the shot genuinely needs 15 seconds, the Kling 3.0 series is the only route. Everything earlier stops at 10.
Framing is a decision, not a default. Choose it first, because the same Kling prompt composes differently in every ratio.
Establishing shots, product hero angles, anything destined for a website or a player. Room on both sides for camera movement.
Short-form social. Compose for a single subject filling the frame; wide scenery simply does not survive the crop.
Feed posts and thumbnails. Centred subjects and symmetrical framing read best; diagonal action tends to feel cramped.
4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3 and 21:9 are also documented for Kling. Use them deliberately — a nostalgic 4:3 or a wide 21:9 is a style choice.
